In this meeting, the two sides reviewed the success of ICCLTP 2008 organized by SWJTU in 2008 and summarized the successful experiences and shortcomings of this conference. Dr. Xiaoqiang Zhang expressed gratitude for the strong support from ASCE and Mr. Jonathan C. Esslinger given to ICCLTP 2008. He, on behalf of Professor Jin Zhang, the dean of the College of Logistics of SWJTU, invited Mr. Jonathan C. Esslinger to visit the College of Logistics of WSJTU at an appropriate time, and Mr. Jonathan C. Esslinger readily accepted the invitation. Mr. Jonathan C. Esslinger affirmed the outstanding work of ICCLTP 2008 and expected that the organizing committee of ICLEM 2010 will perform better.

Representatives from both sides of ASCE and the College of Logistics of SWJTU signed a cooperation agreement. ASCE agrees to serve as the support party of ICLEM 2010 and published the conference papers proceeding from ICLEM 2010. After the talks, Mr. Jonathan C. Esslinger introduced enthusiastically the work of various departments under the ASCE and functional zones at the ASCE headquarters to Dr. Xiaoqiang Zhang Qiang.

Through this exchanges, it deepens the linkages between the ASCE and the College of logistics of SWJTU, enhances the mutual understanding and provides a basis for future long-term cooperation.
